Shaw moves out to Barrow

Rochdale striker Jon Shaw has joined Barrow on month's loan.

The 25-year old has found first team football hard to come by since joining Dale last summer. He has made two substitute appearances this term but hasn't featured since Keith Hill brought Chris O'Grady to the club from Oldham.

He made a flying start to his Dale career, scoring in only his second game against Barnet, but he hasn't found the net since in just seven appearances for the club. His season was cut short by injury before he moved out to Crawley on loan for five months.

Shaw links up with former Dale defender David Bayliss who is joint-manager at Barrow.
