Dale boost striking options

Rochdale have added to their strike force with the addition of Chris O'Grady on loan from Oldham.

Keith Hill has moved to bolster his forward options with Dale having scored just one goal from open play despite dominating their opening three league games for large spells.

O'Grady, 23, has signed a deal that will keep him at Spotland until the transfer window re-opens in January.

The striker goes straight into the squad ahead of this Sunday's trip to Rotherham, where the Dale defence will be faced by former colleague Adam Le Fondre, who moved to the Millers just two weeks ago.
