Speculation has risen among the Spotland faithful that goalscoring ace Adam Le Fondre could be on the verge of exiting the club.

Rumours abound that Dale have turned down a £100,000 bid from an unknown club for last season's top goalscorer.

Le Fondre's Spotland contract runs out at the end of this season, which could indicate that the player's agent is pushing rumours about a possible sale in order to boost other bids from potential suitors and put Le Fondre in the transfer spotlight.

If Le Fondre does leave the club, a percentage of the fee would go to Stockport County due to a sell-on claure in the striker's contract when Dale bought Le Fondre from the Hatters.
