Shaw set for return against United

Rochdale striker Jon Shaw is set for his first appearance of pre-season when Rochdale take on a Manchester United XI at Spotland tonight (Monday 20 July, kick-off 7.30pm).
Shaw has recovered from a dead leg to take part in tonight's game. He was rested for the game against Everton at the weekend but is expected to play a part this evening.
The game may come too soon for Adam Le Fondre, Ciaran Toner and Marcus Holness. Le Fondre felt a minor thigh injury and pulled out of the Everton game after the warm up as a precaution.
With Rory McArdle suffering a long-term shoulder injury and Craig Dawson having spent the most time on the pitch of all the Dale players thus far, Keith Hill may decide to take a closer look at trialist Marlon Broomes, who played the last half hour of the Everton friendly. Fellow trialist Nathan Woolfe may also be in line for a start after playing a tidy last half hour on Saturday.
Aside from the injured players, Hill is likely to continue with the blend of youth and experience that has been the hallmark of pre-season so far. With tonight's game coming just two days after Saturday's defeat, in which six players played the full game, Hill may rest some of his first team regulars.
Youth team players Callum Byrne, Chris Brown and Josh Brizzell all came off the bench on Saturday and are likely to pick up more valuable first team experience this evening.
The full Manchester United squad is currently on a pre-season tour of Malaysia, so their squad tonight will be made up of relatively unknown youth team players. There will however be one recognisable face on the United bench in the form of their ex-striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who now manages the youth side.
Entry to the game is £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
