Heywood enhance their lead

Heywood solidified their place as runaway leaders of the CLL under-18 Whittaker Cup after an 83 run win over Royton.
Half centuries from Dale Latham and Dean Wilkinson helped Heywood amass 248 for nine before they bowled out The Paddock side for 165. Liam Brown made 52.
Werneth remain in second place after recording a 26-run win at home to Rochdale.
Matthew Taylor hit 50 and Franco Lenhardt 43 as Werneth made 161. They dismissed Rochdale for 135.
In the other games involving Rochdale sides, Littleborough beat Bury by 13 runs and Middleton triumphed by 25 runs against Milnrow.
