Rochdale were beaten by Championship side Peterborough in a behind closed doors friendly during their pre-season training camp in Marbella.

The game was played in four quarters of twenty minutes each, with both teams able to make use of the all of their available players.

Dale started the game with a strong side, one that might well start the opening game of the season at Port Vale, before the rest of the squad were given a run out later on. New signings Kenny Arthur and Jason Kennedy both made their unofficial debuts.

Dale performed strongly but could not prevent a defeat, with Posh's goals coming from Dominic Green and Shaun Batt.
