Dale spend more than £1million on player wages

Rochdale Football Club spent more than £1million on players' wages last season and lost a total of £60,000 over the course of the campaign.
The £1.1million paid to the players was by far the club's heaviest form of expenditure, with a further £450,000 spent on staff wages.
Stewarding and policing cost the club £200,000, £60,000 was handed over to the Spotland Stadium Company for use of the ground while the team spent £70,000 on travel and hotel bills.
The club's total expenditure reached £1,880,000 by the end of the season.
This was offset by income of £650,000 on gate receipts and season ticket sales, a £360,000 basic award from the football league, £260,000 earned through the club's goldbond lottery, £300,000 in sponsorship deals and £150,000 in youth development. The club shop raised a total of £100,000 through the course of the season.
Total income reached £1,820,000 to leave an excess expenditure over income of £60,000.
