Rochdale Ladies Rounders League is looking for new teams to join the league
New players (aged 14+) and teams are wanted for the Rochdale Ladies Rounders League.
The league has been running for over 50 years with a good turnout of 30 teams in the past.
However, due to covid restrictions and the suspension of games, the league lost a number of teams once the season restarted.
There are currently 20 teams and at least four more teams are wanted.
The league are a friendly bunch with mixed ages ranging from 14 to whenever you decide to call it a day.
We would love to hear from any new teams as well as individuals who are interested in joining a team. The rounders season runs from May to September with games played at Firgrove playing fields on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm. Occasional tournaments are played on a Sunday.
Training starts in April. If you are interested, please call either Sue on 07732 316782 or Corrine on 07985 240932 before 17 March.
Enquiries can also be made by email.
