Rochdale's players celebrate Paul Conway's life during a minute's applause during the club's last home game.
Rochdale's players, management and Board of Directors attended a Requiem Mass for the club's sports scientist yesterday (Monday 15 September).
Paul Conway died on Wednesday 3 September, aged 45, after suffering a brain haemorrhage. The club's staff were at the Mass, at St Mary's RC Church in Manchester, to give their support to Paul's wife Jackie and their two sons Ben and James.
The service was packed with people that Paul had helped and influenced during his life, including youngsters that he coached and taught at Hopwood Hall College.
Former Dale players David Perkins and Tommy Lee, who, along with Paul, helped Dale to the play-off final last season, also paid their respects.
Paul was buried at Saddleworth Cemetery in Uppermill, Saddleworth.
