Rochdale Hornets looking for sponsors

The Rochdale Hornets rugby league team are looking for sponsors ahead of the upcoming season.
The team is looking for sponsors for their kit, warm-up and training kit, in addition to the kit for its ladies’ side.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for matches, players and staff as well as programme and stadium advertising.
To ease the financial pressure on Hornets, the club is also being supported by the independent supporters’ association '100% Hornets'.
The independent supporters’ association was formed in December 2018 after preparations for last season were hit when the club's rugby posts broke in the run-up to the pre-season friendlies.
A hastily-convened meeting of loyal fans raised over £1,000 towards the cost of new posts – and a new fundraising idea was born.
The suggestion was to create a 'fundraising club' that would not only make it possible for fans to contribute on a monthly basis, but which would also add a social element to its fundraising.
The association's first year has seen them organise quiz nights, bucket collections, auctions, social events and even bag-packing events at Kingsway Morrisons, the site of Hornets' former home.
Through all this hard work, fans are on target to raise over £6,000 this year for their club.
A spokesman for 100% Hornets said: “Our ambition is to enable Rochdale Hornets to compete more effectively on and off the field, to relieve some of the financial pressures on Matt [Calland, coach] and the board.
“We think that enabling Hornets to take advantage of player opportunities it might otherwise miss out on will be a key factor in delivering the success we all want for our club.
“We may not have the game's biggest support or a wealthy backer – but there's no doubting the passion and generosity of Hornets fans. As we strive to punch above our weight in 2020, we appeal to that passion in every supporter to help in whatever way they can.
“We don't promise miracles, but what we do promise is that every penny we raise will go to our club to help make us more viable, more competitive and more secure.”
Founded in 1871, Rochdale Hornets is one of rugby’s oldest clubs, and Rochdale's oldest sporting club.
The ladies’ side, Rochdale Hornets Women, was established after it was relaunched in January 2019.
