Cricket: Norden defeated at Clitheroe

Norden Cricket Club opened their JW Lees Lancashire League season with a defeat at Clitheroe.
The home side was asked to take first knock and looked in trouble at 48-5 then 81-6.
But the innings was pulled round by Peter Dibb who hit 56, Bilal Ahmed 46, Josh McDowell 25, and Norden were left with a target of 214.
The reply saw Stags on 45 before the first wicket fell. Wickets then tumbled and the team was all out for 178.
Josh Tolley top scored with 29, and Lee Crabtree was unbeaten on 27.
