Cricket: Morley selected for England Young Lions
Date published: 16 October 2018
Jack Morley, Heywood Cricket Club
Heywood Cricket Club’s Jack Morley continues his exciting development with selection for the England Young Lions training squad for the first half of the winter.
The left arm spinner is one of two Lancashire players in the 18 strong squad that will train in both the UK and then Bangalore under the guidance of former England seam bowler Jon Lewis.
The selection follows another positive summer for Jack, who represented Lancashire at Under 17, Under 19 and Second XI level.
Following the training camp there is a series in Bangladesh before the 2019 season begins.
As always, the club wishes Jack the very best on his travels and we thank all those that continue to invest so much time and energy into the development of our young cricketers.
