Judo: Gold and silver medals for Rochdale Judo Club members

Dave Hulme won three out of three contests to take gold in the under 90kg section of the seniors at the Lancashire Open.

There was also a gold for Jake Brearley, gold for Jade Rearden and silver for Liam Ellis.

Isobel Kitchen won gold in the cadets, silver in the Juniors and silver in the Seniors sections of the Northern Holme Counties on Sunday 23 September.

A club spokesperson said: “Well done Dave from all at Rochdale Judo Club and outstanding performances from Isobel.

“Excellent results for the younger members of Rochdale Judo Club at the Lancashire Open in Kendal.

“Well done from all at Rochdale Judo Club, and a mention also to coach Andrew Merchant for all his time and effort.”
