Daisi Daniels is in the British FIS (International Ski Federation) 2018/19 squad.
Daisi, 15, from Whitworth, has just finished her GCSEs at Beech House School in Rochdale and no sooner after her 2018 leavers prom had finished she was packed and ready to fly off to the Alps for summer glacier training in France with the British Ski Academy to get ready for her first year in FIS racing that will start next month in the southern hemisphere.
Mum, Fiona Daniels said: “We are very pleased and proud that Daisi has got a place on the British FIS (International Ski Federation) 2018/19 Squad
“Her training has already started.
“The good news comes after her success last season in Andorra where she won second place in Super G at the International Children’s Races, U16s English Champion, U16s British Super G Champion and U16s British Giant Slalom Champion for the second year running.
“Daisi is very pleased to have a place on the GB FIS Team and is looking forward to the races this season.”
