Rochdale Hornets fixtures
Rochdale Hornets Championship campaign starts with a home fixture against Dewsbury Rams on 5 February.
Dewsbury finished eighth in the Championship last season taking just 16 points having lost 15 of 23 games.
Dewsbury lost a pre-season friendly to Batley Bulldogs on Boxing Day - a team Hornets visit in April.
Local derbies against Oldham and Swinton are must win games, home and away, if Hornets are to prosper in the division. Oldham come to the Crown Oil Arena in March with the return at Oldham's Stalybridge ground the last game of the league season in July. Hornets make the short journey to Swinton in April with Swinton coming to Rochdale in July.
A fixture sure to be a 'needle' match sees Toulouse Olympique, whom Hornets defeated in the League One Promotion Final against Toulouse Olympique at Stade Ernest-Argelés in Blagnac, France in September, coming to Hornets - no doubt seeking revenge - on 2 April.
Prior to the season starting, Hornets have some cracking pre-season fixtures against Million Pound Game winners Salford, nearest rivals Oldham and finishing off with League Leaders Shield winners, Grand finalists and Challenge Cup finalist Warrington Wolves.
Season tickets can be purchased at the club, as can the new Hornets home and away shirts (or call 01706 648004).
