TBA to partner with Rochdale Hornets

Date published: 09 December 2016

Local industrial textiles firm TBA has become the main sponsor of Rochdale Hornets for the 2017 Season.

The company, which manufactures high quality thermal and heat protection textiles from their base in Castleton, originally supported the work of the club in its mentoring programme in local schools. Now it has taken the front position on the 2017 shirt, as well as continuing the programme working in schools to mentor young people and prepare them for the world of work.

General Manager for TBA, Mark Lineker, sees the potential of the partnership and welcomes the opportunities it provides: “Rochdale. Hornets are an iconic feature of Rochdale and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them last year on the mentoring programme. To have the opportunity to work more closely with them in 2017 is something that we welcome enthusiastically.”

Hornets Chairman, Mark Wynn, said: “We are extremely proud of our Rochdale heritage and we share many values which makes the partnership and ideal arrangement.”

The 2017 Kingstone Press Championship starts on 5 February when Hornets face Dewsbury Rams at the Crown Oil Arena. Season tickets and match tickets are available from info@hornetsrugbyleague.com
