Date published: 16 March 2016
A determined effort by Littleborough saw them overcome nearby rivals Rossendale at Rakewood in the semi-final of the Junior Rugby Challenge, Junior Bowl.
Littleborough, although a player down in the first 10 minutes, ran two tries past a surprised Rossendale defence.
At full strength in a flowing game of passing and skilful rugby they scored another six tries and one conversion to seal the win.
Litleborough try scorers on the day included Harry Gee, Toby Holt, David Mills, Matthew Rothwell, Kai Sumner and Charlie Sutcliffe.
Rossendale try scorers were Tom Moore and Tyler Johnson.
The final will be held on Sunday 24 April at Fylde.
