Niall Canavan has joined Dale

Defender Niall Canavan has joined Dale on an emergency loan.
The 24-year-old moves to Spotland from Scunthorpe United.
The former Republic of Ireland U21 international came through the Scunthorpe youth system and has made over 150 appearances for the club.
Canavan has featured 12 times for Scunthorpe United this season, including against Rochdale at Glanford Park in December.
He will wear squad number 15.
