Norden Cricket Club
Norden, as the last champions of the Central Lancashire Cricket League, will have the honour of playing in the first match under the auspices of the JW Lees Pennine Cricket League.
In a cricket equivalent of football’s Charity Shield they will meet Saddleworth at a venue yet to be decided on Saturday 23 April.
The new league will see its first set of fixtures the following day.
