Bins
Some bins in Middleton were not emptied yesterday (Tuesday 21 December 2010) because of icy conditions.
The roads were deemed “unsafe” for bin collection vehicles.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Council, said: “If conditions improve sufficiently, and where it is safe to do so, collection crews will try to collect outstanding work up to and including Friday of this week. We regret that any rubbish we can't get to by this Friday (24 December 2010) we will collect again when it is next scheduled to be collected.”
If your bin is due to be collected today make sure it is put out for collection.
