Carol singing at Cutgate Precinct raises money for Springhill Hospice
Date published: 21 December 2015
Churches Together in North West Rochdale (CTiNWR) raised £80 for Springhill Hospice through their annual carol singing at Cutgate Precinct on Saturday 19 December.
Thirty members of the various churches braved the elements to proclaim the Christian message of Christmas to local shoppers through traditional carols.
CTiNWR comprises ten churches, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, United Reform and Roman Catholic, working together in the area.
A spokesperson said: "We are indebted to Sayers the Bakers for supplying electricity for the two keyboards and for supplying refreshments afterwards."
