Breakfast with Santa at Gordon Rigg Garden Centre
Date published: 20 December 2015
Families from across the borough enjoyed breakfast with Santa on Saturday (19 December) before he sets off to deliver presents to children around the world.
The event, which has been running every Saturday in December, has seen children sit down for breakfast at Gordon’s Bistro in the Rochdale-based garden centre before meeting Santa.
As well as meeting Santa, the children received a goody bag, colouring book, crackers and could have their face painted.
Leanne Baker, from Gordon Rigg Garden Centre, said: “This is the first year we have done this event and it has gone really well.
“All the children seem to have really enjoyed it and that is what matters. If they are happy, then we are happy.
"It is certainly something we will look at doing again.”
