Tony Metcalf has donated £3,428 to the Hospice following a gala dinner at The Heywood Pub.

616 Santa’s took part in this year’s Santa Dawdle or Dash on Sunday 13 December, which celebrated its tenth birthday this year.

A donation of £2,000 was given to the Hospice from this year’s Rochdale Business Awards. Steve Berry from Bamford Contract Services presented the cheque to Hospice Chairman of the Board Robert Clegg MBE at the 2015 Man of Rochdale luncheon.

Amanda Ainsley Murphy who works at Wendy Lane Vets in Rochdale has donated £503 to the Hospice following a fundraising party held at Grace’s Place in November.

The Christmas opening hours for the Springhill Hospice Tea Room & Gift Shop are:

  • Closing Wednesday 23 December at 3pm.
  • Reopening Monday 4 January 10am.

Man of Rochdale

Award winning chef Andrew Nutter was crowned this year’s Man of Rochdale. Andrew picked up the award at a special luncheon held on Friday 27 November.
