Lee Nolan denies murder of Katelyn Parker

Lee Nolan, 48, from Heywood, has plead not guilty to murder in relation to the death of 24-year-old Katelyn Parker from Milnrow.
Katelyn's body was found in the boot of a Nissan car parked on River Street, Heywood on 14 August 2015. A post-mortem examination showed that she had been strangled.

Nolan was arrested after a tip-off to police and is accused of murdering Katelyn between 12 and 14 of August.
Nolan appeared at Manchester Crown Court via video link from Strangways prison to enter his not guilty plea. He was remanded into custody by Judge David Stockdale QC.
He is expected to stand trial at Manchester Crown Court on 1 February.
