Falinge Park Drama and Dance Performances at East Lancs Railway
29 Year 9 Dance and Drama students from Falinge Park High School performed their ‘Mind The Gap’ creative work at East Lancs Railway Bury Bolton Street Station as part of the Schools’ ‘Santa Special’ event.
The students performed their monologues as part of a larger immersive experience whilst dancers performed on the platform as primary children boarded the special train.
The students enjoyed some great praise from the general public for their performances and some students were able to step up into the cabin of the steam train and talk to the driver and coal stoker.
Upon the train’s return the students performed to the general public and a further number of primary students at the Bury Transport Museum.
A fantastic day was enjoyed by everyone and we were incredibly proud of the compelling performances our students created.
