Councillor Wardle presents a £2,000 cheque to Wing Commander David Forbes (retired)
Councillor Carol Wardle, ex mayor of Rochdale, presented a cheque to Wing Commander David Forbes (retired).
Councillor Wardle said: “It’s for the use of the borough British Legion for welfare purposes of all ex-servicemen in the borough who need help.
“The cheque was for £2,000.00 from my Mayor's charity.”
