The M62 motorway will be closed between junction 19 at Heywood and junction 20 at Rochdale/Oldham from 9pm on Saturday until 10am on Sunday
The M62 motorway will be closed between junction 19 at Heywood and junction 20 at Rochdale/Oldham from 9pm on Saturday until 10am on Sunday.
Passengers are being urged to plan their journeys and allow more time to travel.
The work is to remove unsuitable overhead gantries as part of the £202m smart motorway scheme.
As the penultimate shopping weekend before Christmas, highways and transport networks are expected to be busier than normal.
