Littleborough Civic Trust - saved for the future

Littleborough Civic Trust, which has worked for the Littleborough Community for over 40 years, has been saved for the future.
It was agreed at the Special General Meeting on Tuesday (8 December) that the Civic Trust would continue its work for the people of Littleborough and a new committee was elected.
Thanks were given to all who have run the Civic Trust in the past.
The Trust will now look to the future in which Littleborough will be promoted as the tourism centre for Rochdale Borough
Membership is increasing and active involvement will be encouraged.
The new chairman of the committee is Peter Hook, a well known local community leader who is very much involved with the Hare Hill House project.
