’Drop Everything and Read’ week

Date published: 08 December 2015

All students and staff at Kingsway Park High School took part in their first DEAR,’Drop Everything and Read’ week recently to promote reading for pleasure.

Each day, everyone read a book of their choice for 25 minutes.

Both students and staff enjoyed the week, reflecting on how important reading is for the wider curriculum, and the importance of reading beyond the school setting.
