“David owning his own mechanic business has been one of his life time dreams as he has always wanted to make his grandad proud of him as his grandad was the head mechanic at Fords before he retired and has since sadly passed away. David spent a lot of time with his grandparents listening to their tails and just wanted to make them proud and follow in there footprint.

“We set up the business just before having our first child by re-mortgaging our house and putting all of our savings into it so that David would be able to spend more quality time with our son and not miss those little moments that you can never get back.

“We have had a lot of response from sharing across facebook and people have said that they wish they could help and one suggestion was to set up this go fund me page which I thought I would give ago as over 50,000 people have seen our first post after the robbery we thought that even if some of those 50,000 could even donate £1 we would be able to replace some of the tools and save the business and David’s dream from dying, and maybe not ruin our sons first proper Christmas.

“We would like to wish everyone a big thank you for everyone’s support and words of encouragement.

“I would also like to thank you for running the story; it really does mean so much to us both.”

“Please help if you can."
