Traffic delays at the Cemetery Pub junction until Monday
Date published: 04 December 2015
The repairs to a burst pipe at the Cemetery Pub junction (Bury Road/Sandy Lane/Roch Valley Way) have been completed, however, as reinstatement of the road will take until Monday traffic delays are inevitable.
A spokesperson for United Utilities says: The burst has been repaired, we are currently back-filling the hole and resurfacing the road, we expect the work to be completed by Monday, 7 December.
“We apologise to road users for the disruption.”
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if at all possible, particularly during the morning and evening rush hours.
