Four thousand pound boost for Mayor's charities from Rochdale Beer Festival

The Mayor's charities, Shopmobility, Springhill Hospice, Petrus and Pakeeza Womans Group have benefited from a four thousand pound boost via money raised at the Rochdale Beer Festival held recently at Rochdale Town Hall.
Mark Foxley, of Town Centre Management, said: "We are all delighted we over achieved our target for the Mayor's charities."
The festival featured over 70 real ales, 10 ciders and perries along with a foreign bottled beer bar.
