Four thousand pound boost for Mayor's charities from Rochdale Beer Festival

Simon Compton (The Baum), Jon Hudson (The Flyer), Mayor Surinder Biant, Ben Boothman (The Flyer), Mark Foxley (Town Centre Management) and Sonja Brine (Rochdale Town Hall)
The Mayor's charities, Shopmobility, Springhill Hospice, Petrus and Pakeeza Womans Group have benefited from a four thousand pound boost via money raised at the Rochdale Beer Festival held recently at Rochdale Town Hall.
Mark Foxley, of Town Centre Management, said: "We are all delighted we over achieved our target for the Mayor's charities."
The festival featured over 70 real ales, 10 ciders and perries along with a foreign bottled beer bar.
