St James’ Church Christmas Fair
Date published: 03 December 2015
The Christmas Fair at St James’ Church, Milnrow raised over £1,600.
The school choir sang carols to get everyone in the Christmas mood. There were lots of different stalls including tombola, toys, craft, cakes, bottle tombola, café, hook a duck and jam jar hoopla. And of course a visit from Father Christmas.
Emma Doggett said: “We managed to raise an amazing £1,668, which is £72 more than the previous year.
“All proceeds will go towards the upkeep and running costs of the church.
“Our thanks to everyone who attended and helped out at the event. Special thanks to Fiona Wilson who co-ordinated the fair.”
