Matthew Moss High GCSE Awards Evening

Date published: 01 December 2015

This year’s Matthew Moss High GCSE Awards Evening took place at Rochdale Town Hall.

Former students and parents were entertained by a fascinating talk by the learning expert David Price OBE who praised the school for its reputation as a centre for excellence in preparing students for a life of learning.

Headteacher Mark Moorhouse said: "I congratulate the students on the academic progress they had made whilst at Matthew Moss culminating an impressive value-added score of 1012, the highest in the school’s history."

This year's winner of the Alan Squire Award, presented for Endeavour was Azeem Amir.
