This year’s Matthew Moss High GCSE Awards Evening took place at Rochdale Town Hall.
Former students and parents were entertained by a fascinating talk by the learning expert David Price OBE who praised the school for its reputation as a centre for excellence in preparing students for a life of learning.
Headteacher Mark Moorhouse said: "I congratulate the students on the academic progress they had made whilst at Matthew Moss culminating an impressive value-added score of 1012, the highest in the school’s history."
