Sanctuary Trust socks week 7 - 11 December
Halifax Branches around Rochdale will be holding a Homeless Awareness Week and collecting for Sanctuary Trust.
People can give socks or donate money at the Halifax branches around Manchester including Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Ashton, Eccles and around North Wales including Colwyn Bay. Sanctuary Trust Socks days are 7 - 11 December.
Why socks? Rough sleepers quite often suffer trench foot, which comes about from wearing wet socks or not changing socks for prolonged periods.
