Andrew Nutter – Man of Rochdale 2015
Andrew Nutter has been named as Man of Rochdale for 2015.
Andrew, who runs the award winning Nutters Restaurant in Norden, was honoured for his work for local charities, including Springhill Hospice, for helping 2014 Man of Rochdale Harry Bell raise £100,000 for charity and for his contribution to representing the town nationally and internationally.
Andrew was named as the 22nd Man of Rochdale at a special luncheon, held on Friday (27 November), and beat off 45 other nominees to win the award.
Andrew said he was “completely surprised” at winning the award.
Melanie Caffrey, Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice said: "Yet again the men of Rochdale have come out in force to recognise the hard work and efforts of all our nominees and, of course, this year's ultimate winner, Andrew Nutter.
“We are so very grateful to everyone for attending. To Harry Bell for his outstanding contribution to the Hospice and other local charities this year and we wish Andrew Nutter all the very best for his year as Man of Rochdale."
