Free hog roast in Littleborough on Small Business Saturday
The Pennine Business and Tourism Forum is offering shoppers supporting Small Business Saturday a free hog roast if they spent £10 or more in any shop in the Pennine Township on Saturday (5 December).
Anyone who can provide a receipt from a local business for at least £10 was given a free hog roast sandwich.
Rochdale Online Director, John Kay, Chairman of the Pennine Business and Tourism Forum, said: “This is another example of how the people of Littleborough work together to make the village the tourism centre for the Rochdale Borough.”
In addition to the window display competition which will be judged by local councillors, members of the Pennine Business and Tourism Forum decided to do something different to attract residents and visitors to spend money in local shops.
