Christmas Market at Rochdale Town Hall

A Christmas Market was held in Rochdale Town Hall on to give those in attendance a chance to stock up on Christmas gifts and goodies.
Stalls included clothes, glitter glasses, Christmas decorations and health products.
Jackie Leyland who was selling glitter glasses said: “It has been good. There has been quite a lot of people and it is something I would do again.”
The Rotary Club of Rochdale were also at the market raising money for The Christie by selling handmade reindeers.
David Acton, from the Rotary Club, said: “The Christie is one of President Irene Davidson's chosen charities so all money from the sale of goods on the stall will go there. It has been good.”
Joanne Cowen, who was selling jewellery, said: “It has gone well and these events are something I do quite often. It is something that I would do again if they were to do it again.”
As well as the market, a Christmas Café was selling goodies such as roast dinners and baguettes.
Entertainment was provided by Wardle Community Band.
