Donations to Retrak

Date published: 21 November 2015

A few months ago the police had Station Open Days at both Heywood and Rochdale Police Station, the money raised from these open days has been added to the money officers raised in a charity football match and a Bake Off in aid of RETRAK.

A group of officers from GMP have given up their time to fly over to Ethiopia to support the Street Children. Rochdale’s Chief Inspector Chris Hill is there at the moment.

Chief Inspector Chris Hill says: "Thank you to all who have supported him and RETRACK. It is amazing working with homeless children who have had an horrendous start to their short lives. I am proud and privileged to be able to support the journey.

“Chief Inspector Chris Hill is still fund raising and will be running the Ethiopia Half Marathon this Sunday with 50,000 local people and other fundraisers.

"If you would like to donate just one pound which will help pay for things such as food or accommodation for the people at the RETRAK centre it is really simple. Text trip85 £1 to 70080."
