Bishop of Manchester visits Hopwood Hall College

The Bishop of Manchester, David Walker, visited Hopwood Hall College yesterday (Wednesday 18 November) and spoke to students about their experiences and opinions about Rochdale.
The Bishop took a tour of the Rochdale campus, including some of its facilities such as the student social space, and the real-life student working environments of the Riverside Restaurant and the Riverside Salon.
He then met staff, students and members of the student leadership team and chatted informally to students about their experiences in Rochdale. He asked what they thought about the College and Rochdale; students fed back that they are worried about the lack of local of jobs and poverty, but really like the facilities of the College.
They also took the opportunity to ask the Bishop about his views on topical issues such as the Paris terror attacks.
