Father Christmas coming to a street near you this December

The Rotary Club of Middleton Christmas Float
The Rotary Club of Middleton Father Christmas Float will be taking to the streets of Middleton throughout December, starting on Tuesday 1 December and completing its journey on Thursday 17 December.
Lee Wolf, the Chairman of Rotary Middleton’s Community Service team, said: “Last year the float raised over £7,000 which was given out to local causes. We were able to fund a defribulator for Middleton Cricket Club, a projector for Middleton Popstars Academy’s new Bo-Jangle Theatre, helped with the funding of Status-4-All’s ‘Future Growth’ project, and The Croft Community Garden received funding for their Sensory Garden and pond clean up.”
“As always we are reliant on volunteers to help with the float in what is an extremely busy and tight three week programme and I would like to ask for members of the Middleton community to consider volunteering to help us with the collection.
“Each evening takes about 2-2½ hours and you can volunteer by contacting me at middletonrotarycs@yahoo.co.uk.”
