The Wine Press raise money for Children in Need
Date published: 15 November 2015
Staff and customers at The Wine Press in Littleborough raised money Children in Need on Saturday (14 November).
The restaurant held a cake sale, a chocolate raffle and offered face painting to customers.
Manager of The Wine Press, Francesca Stefanuto said: “When Davina McCall did her bike ride for charity last year she stopped here for breakfast and following that, we always wanted to do something to raise money.
“Because of the time of year, we thought doing something for Children in Need would be good.”
This is the first time the restaurant has done any fundraising for charity.
Francesca added: “Hopefully we can raise about £200. If we could do that, then that would be great.”
