Hopwood Winter Market
Date published: 15 November 2015
Despite torrential rain, Heywood residents came out to support the Hopwood Winter Market on Saturday (14 November).
Held at Hopwood Park, the event included a variety of stalls such as jewellery, crafts, toys and cakes.
Entertainment was provided by Hopwood Community Primary School, Middleton Youth Brass Band and Roch Valley Hospital Radio.
Sandra Trickett, from Friends of Hopwood Park, who organised the event, said: “Thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting us, despite this awful weather. We really do appreciate the support.”
The winter market is held every year and money raised from the event will go back to benefit the people of Heywood.
