Statement by the Rochdale Council of Mosques on the Paris attacks

Date published: 15 November 2015

"The terrorist attacks in Paris have shocked all our communities and once again as Rochdale Muslims we stand resolutely against all forms of terrorism.

"Our thoughts and prayers with all the families of the victims of yet another terrible terrorist attack in Paris.

"The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us to 'keep others safe'.

"This callous and cowardly attack on innocent men and women is highly condemned.

"These coming days we will collectively pray for peace and for security amongst all our communities"
