Speaking for Ourselves
Falinge Park High School Year 9 Drama students will be involved in a special cross-school creative collaborative project titled ‘Speaking For Ourselves’ from January 2016 which will see them working with students from Abraham Moss and Ambrose Barlow Schools in Greater Manchester.
The project will take place in all three schools and will lead to a showcase video which documents their collaborative and creative journey.
The sessions will explore issues relevant to young people of today and promote expression and articulation in teenagers as young leaders.

Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) Celebration of Faith
Over fifteen schools joined us for the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) Celebration of Faith event at Falinge Park High School and Performing Arts College on the 22 October 2015.
The afternoon celebration featured workshops in creative writing, shadow puppetry, dance, storytelling and pattern art.
The session also included the opportunity to share some fantastic visual art exhibition work and participate in a great balloon launch across Rochdale.
Many thanks to all the young people, staff and friends who joined us for this special day to share their work and experiences.
