Hebron Pentecostal Church
Last Sunday morning we remembered those who gave their lives that we might live in the freedom we enjoy today.
Julie Mellor in the communion service reminded us that the greatest sacrifice of all was when the Lord laid down His ife for us when we were still His enemies.
The pastor then shared on the theme “remember, remember” looking at all the times the word “remember” is found in the gospels. Closing with the words of an angel. “He is not here; He has risen. Remember how He told you this while he was still with you.
In the evening the pastor gave an overview of the life of the prophet Samuel. Then we spent a profitable discussion time comparing the life of Samuel with the life of Christ. We found the similarities quite amazing; especially as we looked at their mothers.
