Date published: 07 November 2015

Money from the Northern Lights Charity Ball has been donated to the North West Air Ambulance Charity and Guide Dogs.

Harry Bell, Louis Scott and Chris Bell presented money to both charities on Thursday (5 November).

The North West Air Ambulance Charity received a donation of £6,000.

Liz Greenwood from the North West Air Ambulance Charity said: “I can’t stress enough how grateful we are for this donation. Without donations like this, we wouldn’t be here. Anyone could need this service at any time and we rely on charitable donations. We are incredibly grateful.”

The Guide Dogs received a donation of £1,000.

Kathryn Barber from Guide Dogs said: “It is absolutely fantastic. The money will go into a central pot that will then be spilt across Guide Dogs all over the country.”

The Northern Lights Charity Ball, held on Friday 11 September 2015, raised a staggering £100,000 for local charities.
