Metrolink services disrupted

Metrolink passengers are advised there will be some changes to services on Sunday (1 November) with improvement works affecting Bury and Rochdale via Oldham services, which will terminate at Victoria station. A replacement bus service will run from Piccadilly to Victoria, calling at all stops except Market Street.

Peter Cushing, Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM) Metrolink Director, said: “We’re at the start of an extensive testing and commissioning process to make sure all the physical infrastructure is ready for us to get passenger services in the run up to Christmas.

“Over the next few weekends there will be some changes to tram services so I’d encourage customers to plan ahead and check our website at www.metrolink.co.uk for updates.”
