Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has launched its own website as part of a drive to improve how its work for the area is communicated.
The new website supersedes the site for the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) which had become outdated and difficult to navigate.
The site has been designed to be mobile and tablet-friendly and easy to navigate and search. It meets the Digital Code requirements set out by the government to ensure that local authority websites are user-friendly.
Tony Lloyd, interim Mayor of Greater Manchester, said: "As additional powers and responsibilities are devolved to Greater Manchester it's only right that the public can access information about what we're doing and the decisions being made in their names.
"We know that we've got to involve the people of Greater Manchester when making decisions about services like health and transport.
"I'm committed to improving transparency and increasing accountability and this website is simply the first step in our journey to open up the workings of the Combined Authority."
