Saturday 17 October

Police were called to reports of a drunken male in Heywood being abusive to ambulance staff. The male calmed down once police arrived and was taken to hospital.

A driver was issued with a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) in Heywood for using his mobile phone whilst driving.

Sunday 18 October

A female was arrested overnight in Middleton for drink driving.

Monday 19 October

A man was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking.

A man was arrested on suspicion of drink/drug driving and dangerous driving.

A man was arrested for breach of the peace.

Reece Girardi (07/10/1994), from Rochdale, who was arrested on 18 October, has since been charged with an assault, harassment without violence and criminal damage and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Nicholas Andrew (31/03/1969), from Rochdale, who was arrested on 18 October, has since been charged with drink driving and criminal damage and has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 4 December.

Miriam Brogan (14/07/1964), from Middleton, who was arrested on 18 October, has since been charged with failing to provide specimen for analysis (vehicle driver) and has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 27 November.

Stuart Heap (28/03/1984), from Middleton, who was arrested on 18 October, has since been charged with drink driving, no driving licence and no insurance. Heap is bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 4 December.

A Manchester man was arrested on warrant in Rochdale for failing to attend a court and for allegedly committing an immigration offence.

Tuesday 20 October

Daniel Wynn (30/12/1988), from Rochdale, answered his bail on Monday (19 October) and has since been charged with false accounting and bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 4 December.

Tommy Sheehy (03/08/1996), from Rochdale, answered his bail on Monday (19 October) and has since been charged with criminal damage and racially aggravated criminal damage. Sheehy has been bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 2 November.

Barbara Sheehy (14/10/1977), from Rochdale, answered her bail on Monday (19 October) and has since been charged with racially aggravated intentional harassment and use of threatening behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress. Sheehey is bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 2 November.

John Glennan (08/05/1987), from Rochdale, answered his bail and has since been charged with assault and two counts of using violence to secure entry to premises. He is bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 9 November.

A female, from Rochdale, was arrested on suspicion of disqualified driving and dangerous driving.

Wednesday 21 October

A woman was arrested for breach of bail.

A man was arrested to prevent breach of the peace.

Thursday 22 October

A Rochdale man was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

A woman was arrested on Wednesday (21 October) night on suspicion of making threats to kill, possessing a bladed article and possessing drugs with intent to supply.

A man was arrested for a firearms offence.

A Manchester man was arrested in Rochdale in the early hours of the morning on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

A Manchester was man arrested in Rochdale for a public order offence.

A man was arrested for an immigration offence.

A large number of fireworks have been stolen from a property in Middleton.

Following a report of a sexual assault in Middleton, a male has been arrested and is currently helping with enquires.

A white BMW M1335i was stolen in Middleton overnight.

Friday 23 October

A man charged on Thursday (22 October) with possessing a firearm with intent is remanded in custody.

Neil Whitehead (25/06/1979), from Rochdale, has been charged with two counts of harassment and has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 27 November.

Two men arrested in the early hours for assault will be interviewed later.

A female juvenile has been charged with assault and has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Youth Court on 5 November.

A black Renault Traffic van was taken by means of burglary from Smalley Street/Samuel Street overnight (Thursday 22 October). The vehicles registration plate is PN61RKX, and the vehicle has no signage on the side. The van contains several thousand pounds worth of tools.
